InfiniteIO wins Vendor Innovation Award at the Channel Partner Insight Channel Innovation Awards 2019

10 Dec 2019 Austin - InfiniteIO, the world's fastest metadata platform to reduce application latency, has received the 2019 Channel Innovation Award for Vendor Innovation fromChannel Partner Insightmagazine. The award recognizes InfiniteIO's unique approach for providing the lowest possible latency for mission-critical applications, such as AI/machine learning, HPC, DevOps, IoT and genomics, while minimizing disruption to IT organisations across industries. InfiniteIO was presented with the Vendor Innovation award during the 2019 Channel Innovation Award winner's dinner, held on December 5, at The Benjamin Hotel in New York City.

With its flagship Application Accelerator, InfiniteIO delivers the industry's first solution designed to improve application performance by processing metadata separately from file I/O. By offloading metadata processing from the underlying storage or Cloud system, InfiniteIO decreases application latency by up to 50 times, which translates into faster access to data for applications, reduced product development cycles and greater worker productivity.

"We're honoured to be recognized for delivering innovation that finally addresses the longstanding problem of latency created by file system processing of metadata. Data-intensive workflows such as AI and HPC generate and consume millions of small files or more, which translates into billions of metadata requests", stated Mark Cree, CEO of InfiniteIO. "These new workflows require metadata performance that traditional storage and Cloud systems simply cannot deliver. Reducing latency through file metadata management has become the killer app for turbo-charging today’s workflows and a strategic opportunity for the channel."

The Channel Innovation Awards (CIAs) byChannel Partner Insightare designed to recognize channel players across North America who are at the forefront of this innovation. The CIAs are for those who are leading from the front, for those solution providers, distributors and vendors who are truly galvanizing the channel to advance into new opportunities and growth. Independently run, the CIAs will shine a spotlight on innovation and achievement in the North American channel over the past year.

"The channel is an increasingly disrupted industry undergoing tremendous change", stated Josh Budd, editor ofChannel Partner Insight. "Our winners have demonstrated their ability to keep their customers at the heart of everything they do, and have proven themselves to be true innovators in a crowded market place. I would like to congratulate all winners inChannel Partner Insight'sChannel Innovation Awards."
